  • Framing?
I strongly recommend framing all originals and prints. Framing protects and elevates the artwork, while bringing more cohesion to your space. It’s 100% worth it. I promise. If you don’t know where to start, email me. I currently work with a great frame shop located just minutes from my studio and would be happy to handle the framing process for you.
  • Can I pick up artwork from your studio?
Yes, you are welcome to pick up your purchase in person at my studio in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Just use the code STUDIOPICKUP at checkout to forgo shipping fees, and I will email you about a time to meet!
  • Print Quality?
I am proud to own a business that chooses quality first. Always. Fine art reproductions are made print to order by Eagle Photographics Inc., a high-end print shop based out of Tampa, Florida. I’ve worked closely with them throughout the years and, trust me, they are seriously good at what they do. All print orders are individually shipped directly to my studio in Tuscaloosa to be hand-signed and quality checked so that I can ship them to you.
  • Can I order a custom sized print?
It is possible to order custom print sizes. If you are interested in a print size that I do not offer, please email me to discuss.
  • How will my artwork be shipped?
All originals and canvas prints are carefully wrapped in fine art glassine paper, packaged with foam or bubble wrap, and sent in a sturdy cardboard box to ensure safe delivery. Paper prints will come rolled in a thick cardboard tube. I ship with FedEx.
  • How long does it take to ship?
Originals will be delivered within 2-3 weeks, unless otherwise noted. Prints will be delivered within 3-4 weeks.
  • International shipping?
I do ship originals and prints internationally. Unfortunately for us both, it can be expensive. I charge a flat rate based upon package weight and distance; however, please note that boarder fees, duties, and handling fees may be charged by other countries. I do everything that I can to minimize costs and make sure that your art gets to you safely, no matter where you’re located.
  • Returns?
Every order, commission, and sale is handled with as much clarity and transparency as possible. Because of this, all sales are final except in certain situations. Please email me at silverfrancisartwork@gmail.com with questions or concerns.
  • Can I commission a painting?
Yes, I am currently taking commissions. Openings are very limited, so check out my commissions page to get started: https://www.silverfrancisartwork.com/commissions
  • How long does it take to receive my commission painting?
The time range within which I can create your custom painting varies depending on the commission size and my availability. The commission process takes anywhere from 3-5 months from start to finish.
  • What sizes do you offer for commission paintings?
I offer stretched canvas in sizes ranging from 12 inches to 48 inches (4 feet). Commission sizes above 48 inches will be delivered rolled and must be stretched upon delivery. I am happy to find a local fine art handler to stretch oversized paintings for you.
  • Rights and Copyright:
I retain all rights to all artwork that I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold and commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original). The collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting.
